there is a cute little program called MICROANGELO that will allow
you to alter ALL of the yellow folders at once, as well as some other
system icons (eg My Computer, Recycling Bin, etc....) it also sports
an icon editior, and a cursor editior.
then, there is a shell add-on by the name of ANY FOLDER that will
allow you to replace ANY shell folder. (except for the WINDOWS and
SYSTEM folder, if you do, you may have system problems. those folders
werent designed to be replaced in win95) the nice thing about this
program is that it allows you to change each individual folder, each
folder can look completely different from the next.
if you are running Internet Explorer 4.x, there are some nice programs
that will take full use of the browser's ability to alter individual
icons as with ANY FOLDER. these add-on programs are usually small, and
easy to work with.
both of the programs first mentioned are downloadable off of my website in my PROGRAMS section.....
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Horizon/2229/index.html
there are some other programs on my site that you may find work to
your advantage.
